The only whisky of Grand Cru Classés Bordeaux
Whisky d’Arche is a whisky obtained by distillation of two barley malt according to the traditional method of Scottish distilleries, aged 5 years. Maturation and finishing in the best Sauternes Barrels of Chateau d’Arche’s grand vin during 6 months.
Whisky d’Arche is usually enjoyed as an after-dinner liqueur, neat. But we also can advise to pair it with delicious oysters from Arcachon Bay.
Light golden colour, discreet nose, some nutty notes, marzipan and ne wood, reminiscent of Japanese whisky with good nuance and nesse, fairly youthfult but yet with some complexity. Fine nuance on the palate with dried fruit, almond and nutty notes with ne wood and a smooth, long nish. Elegant style.
AGED 5 YEARS in EX-BOURBON CASKS // 6 MONTHS Finish in SAUTERNES CASK CHATEAU D’ARCHE
