Copperhead Gin further supports the alchemist story with three blends. These blends were created by the pharmacist Yvan Vindevogel, using his expertise in the field of medicine.

The blends generate a functional and aromatic effect to G&T. They are a mixture of plant and fruit extracts which give an extra dimension to G&T. Firstly the global taste gets redefined, but above all the blends generate a functional effect for the consumer. By only adding 4-8 drops, G&T becomes an aperitive, digestive or an energizer.

- Aperitivum (grapefruit & angelica) 76% ALC

The grapefruit & angelica will stimulate your appetite -> G&T becomes more bitter

- Digestivum (ginger) 78% ALC

The ginger will activate your digestion -> G&T becomes sweeter

- Energeticum (guarana berries) 77% ALC

The guarana berries will give you extra energy -> Stronger citrus aroma

About the Producer

During the summer of 2013, the passionate pharmacist, Yvan Vindevogel, gets triggered by an article which tells the fascinated story of Gin. He has been a pharmacist for many years and one day he read that article about how Gin used to be used in medicine. He owns his own hotel in Belgium, so it is not surprising that he noticed the rise in Gins popularity all across Europe.

Copperhead brings the alchemist history of Gin back to the spotlight. For centuries alchemists were looking for their “Elixir of Life”, a way of extending life until eternity. During his pursuit, and much to his own surprise, he conjured up an exquisite composition, using a copper pot still and a recipe based on five essential botanicals: angelica, juniper, cardamom, orange peel and coriander seed. The medicinal effect of the juniper berries, which is the bases of every gin, is known since dawn, and was an extremely popular product as a medicine.
